The skies opened up and torrential rains poured down so Jack Leary, the Athletic Director, cancelled all practices today to save the fields for the games tomorrow. The Announcements cancelled every practice but the JV boys soccer team. They were told to meet Coach Suleski in the gym at 2:45pm. Normally I wouldn't let a little rain stop my practice, it was only cancelled because of Mr Leary. I tell my players that "the reason they put colored spots on the ball is so you can play in the snow..." However being the organized coach that I am, I had already told Mr. Leary that I needed a classroom for practice.
There is nothing harder than bringing 10 pizza's into a school at the end of the day, past all the students, many of whom are past players who knew what to expect. I even turned down my own son's request for a slice, I mean it was for JV team members only.

We borrowed Mr Schoff's room for our Pizza Practice and "Chalk Talk" ( which was more like a Dry Erase talk).

The Pizza's disappeared at a record rate.

So now we have two new secret weapons:
If someone gets hurt we have pizza fuel... We also have pizza power.
